Health staff get swine flu jabs
Frontline health workers across Shropshire were today being given swine flu jabs as the number of patients with symptoms continues to rise.
Numbers of people attending GPs with flu-like symptoms across Shropshire and the West Midlands region remain above the average for England.
Shropshire’s health trusts have comprehensive vaccination plans which are already in place. The swine flu vaccine will be prioritised initially to front line staff and those most at risk of developing severe illness.
