Forty children have died after a routine vaccination such as MMR and 2,100 more have suffered a serious reaction, UK health authorities have been forced to disclose this week – and these figures are just the tip of the iceberg.
Two of the vaccinated children have been left with permanent brain damage, and 1500 others have suffered neurological reactions, including 11 cases of brain inflammation and 13 cases of epilepsy and coma. Overall, there have been more than 2,100 adverse reactions to a childhood vaccine in the UK in the last seven years.
The UK’s Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Authority (MHRA) was forced to reveal the figures following a request from a journalist under freedom of information legislation.
The true picture is likely to be far worse. The MHRA cases are only those that doctors have reported; if the doctor does not believe the vaccine has caused the reaction, he will not report it. It is suspected that just 10 per cent of all deaths and reactions from vaccines are ever reported; if so, this means that 400 children have died from a vaccine and 21,000 have suffered an adverse reaction in the UK alone. The true situation will be far worse in countries such as the US where childhood vaccination is compulsory.
Last month, the UK government was forced by a court to pay damages to a mother whose son was left with severe brain damage after an MMR vaccination. Another 500 similar cases are currently going through the UK courts.
These figures represent a major setback in the relationship between doctors and parents. Most parents have accepted the reassurances of doctors and health authorities that the vaccines are safe, and that they are doing the best for their child and the community.
Now, if things go wrong, they may be less inclined to believe the doctor’s denials that the vaccine is to blame.

Every year as flu season approaches, health authorities begin their chorus of warnings about the dangers of getting the flu. As part of their campaign to drum up support for the annual flu vaccine, it is common to hear about the 36,000 people who die every year from flu-related illness. But is this statistic even accurate? According to a recent announcement from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), no.

According to the CDC, there is no average number of people who die from the flu because the actual count varies significantly from year to year. Published in its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, the CDC announcement explains that the actual death count from flu-related illness has been as low as 3,300 in some years, which is far lower than the statistics used in media talking points.

The vast majority of flu-related deaths occur in people over the age of 65. Typically it is not even the flu that kills them, but other illnesses that result at some point after having the flu. But this fact has not stopped the CDC from now recommending that every person over the age of six months get a flu vaccine.

But do flu vaccines even work in the first place? According to two reviews recently published by the Cochrane Foundation, flu vaccinations are not effective at preventing the flu. In fact, they do virtually nothing to prevent the flu-related illnesses that are actually responsible for causing death primarily in the elderly.

According to Dr. Tom Jefferson from the Cochrane Vaccines Field, flu vaccines "show only modest or no effect against influenza and hospitalization from pneumonia." He goes on to say in a podcast that "we have no reliable evidence on the effects of influenza vaccines on the elderly and health care workers who work with the elderly. What we do have evidence of is widespread manipulation of conclusions and spurious notoriety of the studies."

So in summary, all the hoopla over flu deaths and the need for a flu vaccine are grounded in junk science and faulty statistics.

How do we determine whether a vaccine does more harm then good. What should be the test? And, should there be liability for harm done?

The public, especially the legal community, has been wary about pharmaceutical companies over the last several years. Despite a targeted, U S Chamber led, industry campaign demonetizing trial lawyers for filing "frivolous lawsuits", the truth is that this "blame the trial lawyers" campaign is really an attempt to create a dangerous market place where members of the public can do little to punish a negligent drug company or get reasonable compensation when a drug does bad things to one (or many) of its users. Simply put, the US Chamber and the drug companies do not want to be responsible when a bad drug injures or kills one of our citizens. Yet, the are guilty of consistent deception over dangerous and defective prescription drugs such as Bextra, Crestor, Accutane, Fen Phen, Avandia, Reglan, Vioxx, and, recently, even a hip replacement product. Further, after much controversy over mercury-containing vaccines, the CDC removed it from the market.

Due to a recent lawsuit, the Supreme Court must now decide whether drug manufacturers may be sued for injuries allegedly caused by vaccines. In 1992, a 6-month-old girl received a common vaccination to prevent Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Tetanus (DPT). Within hours of receiving the shot, her parents said their daughter was not the same child. They claim the vaccine, which was later pulled off the market by its manufacturer, caused permanent neurological damage. The vaccine they say caused her disabilities and seizures was replaced in 1998. After losing their case in the 'Vaccine Court', the couple has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Supreme Court. They contend that there was a safer alternative on the market and that manufacturers should be held accountable to protect our children.

The launching of Vaccine Injury Awareness Month this October coincides with this month`s annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Unlike the cancer industry`s drive for more cash donations and customers (while exposing women to dangerous mammograms and withholding cancer prevention information), the Vaccine Awareness Month is a real effort to honor the vaccine injured and educate those unaware of vaccination hazards.

This event is just in time for the flu season drive to vaccinate as many as possible with shots that combine both seasonal flu and swine flu vaccines, even though the CDC has recently declared the current swine flu as harmless.

Ukrainians Are Already Aware

The AP recently reported that millions of MMR vaccines funded by Ted Turner, who has disclosed more severe depopulation views than Bill Gates, will have to be collected and incinerated. After hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have already shunned vaccinations for polio, TB, hepatitis B, and diphtheria, the suspicion got out that perhaps Ted Turner`s funded vaccines are meant to sterilize those vaccinated.

The Ukrainians` normal skepticism of government, augmented after several vaccine injuries were reported, is also based on real sterilization incidents elsewhere over the past couple of decades.
Vaccinations tainted with sterilizing agents have been discovered and exposed as recently as 2000 in Peru and in the 1990s in Mexico, the Philippines, and Africa. Those vaccination programs were provided free to mostly women in these developing areas through various international agencies.

Ted Turner`s gift to the Ukraine is backed by the UN, making it appear benevolent. But even without sterilizing agents, MMR vaccines have proven ineffective against the mild, usually harmless childhood diseases of mumps, measles, or rubella while often initiating short and long term serious health problems.

Newly uncovered documents reveal that the world's most tragic and dangerous public health experiment has claimed more young victims.

Gardasil, Merck's horrifically bad HPV vaccine being pushed on little girls around the world, has been linked to 16 more deaths -- including four suicides -- and thousands of other terrifying side effects.

Health Minister Bujar Osmani will mark the start of the campaign by getting immunized at the City Health Protection Bureau. Vaccination is free of charge and will be carried out in public health centers throughout the country.

The vaccination is being conducted after an additional 20,000 swine flu "Baxter" vaccines arrived in Macedonia on Thursday. Some 5,000 vaccines, donated by Turkey, were used for immunising doctors and nurses.

Although the World Health Organization has confirmed that the vaccines are perfectly safe, immunisation is clouded by controversy in Macedonia. Media reported that many doctors have refused to take the shot in fear of complications, accompanied by a wide spread uncertainty among the wider population.

The government has launched a media campaign to convince people that the shot is safe.

When it comes to the subject of vaccinating your child, there is no quote more appropriate than a line from Stevie Wonder's song, "Superstition"-"When you believe in things that you don't understand, then you suffer. Superstition is a waste."

I say this for a couple of reasons:

First, probably 90% of Americans do not understand the nature of vaccines, and yet believe in them wholeheartedly.

Secondly, vaccinations have their beginnings in a very superstitious time, "when live frogs were swallowed for the cure of worms; when cow dung and human excreta were mixed with milk and butter for diphtheria; when the brains of a man who had died a violent death were given in teaspoonful doses for the cure of smallpox."

In fact, the "Father of Vaccinations", Edward Jenner, simply started promoting a Gloucestershire dairy maids superstition that said "if you contract cowpox, then you can't get smallpox". What's even more incredible is that Mr. Jenner was not even a medical doctor. He did not sit for a single medical exam, but merely apprenticed with a surgeon for two years, then hung up a shingle that said "Edward Jenner, Surgeon and Apothecary".

Christian Web News - Judicial Watch, a public interest group, published results of its review of new documents on the side effects and reactions to Gardasil, the vaccination for human papillomavirus (HPV).

The documents are from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)

The documents showed 16 new deaths (including four suicides) between May 2009 and September 2010. The information also showed 3,589 Adverse Reactions Related to Gardasil between during this time frame, 789 “serious” reports, with 213 cases resulting in permanent disability and 25 resulting in a diagnosis of Guillain Barre Syndrome.

Three hearbreaking stories about girls who got the Gardasil shot are written below:

* A nineteen year old girl with no medical history except occasional cases bronchitis received Gardasil and in 53 days, had “Headache, Nausea, dizziness, chilling, tiredness, shortness of breath, complained of chest plain, severe cramps.” She experienced an Acute Cardiac Arrhythmia. Attempts to resuscitate her resulted in a sternal fracture, but were unsuccessful and the patient died. — V. 356938
* A thirteen year old girl was vaccinated on July 17th, 2009. Ten days later, she developed a fever and was treated. However, “the patient did not recover and was admitted to the hospital on [August 8th]…She developed dyspnoea and went into a coma…she expired [that day] at around 9:00 pm. The cause of death was determined as ‘death due to viral fever.’ … This event occurred after 23 days of receiving first dose of Gardasil. — V. 380081
* Thirteen days after vaccination, a ten year old girl developed “progressive loss of strength in lower and upper extremities almost totally…Nerve conduction studies [showed Guillain Barre Syndrome].” Case was “considered to be immediately life-threatening.” — V. 339375

“To say Gardasil has a suspect safety record is a big understatement. These reports are troubling and show that the FDA and other public health authorities may be asleep at the switch. In the meantime, the public relations push for Gardasil by Merck and politicians on Capitol Hill continues. No one should require this vaccine for young children," said Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch President.

If the flu shot was so damned important, why do the people who know it best, want it least?

A new report finds that barely half of all healthcare workers in California hospitals got flu shots last year, at the height of the Great Swine Flu Swindle.

What's more, two-thirds of state hospitals failed to meet the federal target of 60 percent vaccination rates, and only 1.6 percent had vaccination rates of 80 percent or better, according to numbers obtained by Consumers Union, the organization behind Consumer Reports.

Consumers Union seems to think this is part of some great national scandal -- that healthcare workers are putting themselves and their patients at risk by not getting shots.

PUH-leaze -- save the outrage act for faulty dishwashers, because these aren't irresponsible nincompoops. These are people exposed to the flu on the frontlines every day, people plugged into the medical community, and people who have read the very real and consistent research on the futility of the flu shot.

Give them a little credit -- they know something about this, and they know it's a hoax... and not just in California.

Across the country, healthcare workers refused to raise their sleeves for the vaccination last year, and in some cases it nearly cost them their jobs. Thankfully, the courts put to a stop to what was turning into a de facto forced vaccination program.

And now, the jig is up once and for all -- because if the shot was so important to good health, all these unvaccinated workers should have gotten sick... practically shutting down hospitals and clinics across the nation.

Remember the Great Doctor Shortage of 2009? Of course you don't -- because it didn't happen.

So if you can't take it from me, take it from them -- you don't need a shot to avoid the flu. Just good habits, good hygiene and a good immune system.

British government policy on measles vaccination for children has changed for no discernible reason notes Christina England, writing on vactruth.com, citing an internal document from 1968.

The document, titled "Notes On the Use and Storage of Measles Vaccine (Live Attenuated) for Routine Vaccines," clearly states in Section 7 that the vaccine should not be given to children under the age of nine months old. According to the paper's authors, the presence of maternal antibodies in the blood of such children interferes with the action of the vaccine, making it ineffective. Instead, the government recommended vaccination at the age of two after vaccination for diptheria, polio, tetanus and whooping cough.

England contrasts this with the ongoing push for earlier measles vaccination, most recently highlighted with a study that found almost no maternal antibodies present in children's bodies by the age of six months.

She also draws attention to Section 6 of the government document, which acknowledges that "mild febrile reactions and transient rashes may be expected to follow the administration of the vaccine in a substantial proportion of cases" but that "the Committee on Safety of Drugs ... does not however, wish to receive reports of mild febrile reactions and rashes associated with the use of this vaccine."

Section 8 then goes on to recommend that in order to reduce the risk of adverse effects, "an interval of three to four weeks should normally be allowed to elapse between the administration of measles vaccine and any other vaccine, whichever is given first."

Yet today, the vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella are given simultaneously, in the form of the MMR shot.

"How safe is the MMR vaccine?" England writes. "The drug company that makes the MMR vaccine publishes an extensive list of warnings, contraindications, and adverse reactions associated with this triple shot. ... Afflictions affecting nearly every body system -- blood, lymphatic, digestive, cardiovascular, immune, nervous, respiratory, and sensory -- have been reported."

Despite all the scare tactics, fear mongering, and pseudoscience about the alleged importance of being vaccinated, a new report from Statistics Canada has revealed that 60 percent of Canadians decided against getting an H1N1 influenza vaccine last year. Even the World Health Organization's (WHO) declaration of a stage 6 pandemic was not enough to convince most Canadians to get the shot.

According to the report, 74 percent of the people who refused the shot said they "did not think it was necessary," indicating a high level of distrust among the public towards federal and international authorities, even during supposed health emergencies. Other reasons for not getting the shot included "had not gotten around to it yet" and "fear".

"Many people don't think that they needed it, and that might help us understand how public health education campaigns could improve in the case of another pandemic," explained Heather Gilmour, a researcher in the analysis division of Statistics Canada.

But government-funded "public health" campaigns are exactly what most people seem to be ignoring these days. After all, the mainstream media continually repeated the mantras of federal health agencies about the dangers of swine flu and the importance of getting vaccinated, and people simply did not believe it.

As a case in point, the lowest vaccination rate in Canada was in Ontario, where a universal vaccination campaign has existed for almost a decade. Of all the provinces and cities throughout Canada, health experts believed the H1N1 vaccination campaign would have fared better in Ontario than in most other places.

Vaccination rates were even lower in the U.S. where 80 percent of adults refused the H1N1 shot.

Every year, right about this time, the Centers for Disease Control publishes its annual report indicating the need for vaccination against the flu (influenza). The number of "36,000" is the number of deaths the CDC usually promotes as the reason behind the need for mass vaccination against the seasonal flu. In its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), the CDC has now admitted that the number of flu deaths has been exaggerated and is probably off by at least 1/3. This is mostly because the oft-touted 36,000 number comes from estimates from 1990-1999 when, the CDC admits, more severe strains of influenza A (H3N2) viruses were in circulation.²

Of course, as Mike Adams recently pointed out, the "seasonal" flu is not "seasonal" and the vaccine for it is usually not even for the right strain (let alone effective).¹

Even the new number is misleading, however. The 24,000 number being given now still includes deaths caused by pneumonia and other respiratory ailments only loosely associated with the flu. In fact, the vast majority of the CDC's estimates are these non-flu infections. The real number of flu-only deaths is harder to obtain, but seems to be in the 300 range (by CDC numbers).

Then consider that even the CDC's own numbers show that the vast majority (nearly 90%) of all flu-related deaths (including pneumonia) occur in those over age 65 and that less than 1% occur in those under the age of 19 (including children). Since no accounting of the health status of those who contract and ultimately die from flu-related symptoms is included in the analysis, we have to assume that the reason for most of the deaths occurring in the elderly is because those people are more likely, statistically, to be in poor health.

Then the obvious question should also be asked: why would the CDC revise these numbers down now, when the hype for flu vaccination is higher than it has been before?

The answer lies in the bonus materials of the MMWR. Included in these flu infection and death estimates, the CDC also makes sure to include the Swine Flu (H1N1) death estimates for 2009.³ This year, the usual flu shot includes, in many areas, the Swine Flu vaccine as well. This is the reason that vaccinations have been stopped in several countries, such as Australia, as numerous complications and even deaths have occurred after the double-dose vaccine is administered.⁴

Now the light begins to shine a little more brightly. Vast stocks of H1N1 vaccines were amassed during the World Health Organization's Swine Flu Scare of 2009 (soon to be re-visited on a TV station near you, no doubt). Those stocks were then, for the most part, likely flushed since the vaccines have a short shelf life. But Big Pharma still has the formulas and they've figured out how to combine the two flu vaccines together. Given that the CDC and many other governmental organizations were such good customers last year, they can likely peddle them again this year.

The 2010 Flu Season Extravaganza is about to begin and the release of the CDC's new numbers is usually the pre-show musical accompaniment as the curtain begins to rise. Grab the popcorn, sit back, and watch as the morbid comedy unfolds.

As someone with a good deal of education in scientific thinking and the scientific method, I have put considerable effort into attempting to find any real scientific evidence backing the widespread use of influenza vaccines (flu season shots). Before learning about nutrition and holistic health, I was a computer software entrepreneur, and I have a considerable scientific background in areas such as astronomy, physics, human physiology, microbiology, genetics, anthropology and human psychology. One of my most-admired thought leaders is, in fact, the late physicist Richard Feynman.

I don't speak from a "scientific" point of view on NaturalNews very often because it's often a dry, boring presentation style. But I do know the difference between real science and junk science, and I find examples of junk science in both the "scientific" side of things as well as the "alternative" side of things.

For example, so-called "psychic surgery," as least in the way it has been popularized, is nothing more than clever sleight-of-hand where the surgeon palms some chicken gizzards and then pretends to pull diseased organs out of the abdominal cavity of some patient. The demonstrations I've seen on film are obvious quackery.

This statement by Bill Gates was not made with any hesitation, stuttering or other indication that it might have been a mistake. It appears to have been a deliberate, calculated part of a well developed and coherent presentation.

So what does it mean when Bill Gates says "if we do a really great job on new vaccines... we could lower [world population] by 10 or 15 percent?"

Clearly, this statement implies that vaccines are a method of population reduction. So is "health care," which all NaturalNews readers already know to be more of a "sick care" system that actually harms more people than it helps.

Perhaps that's the whole point of it. Given that vaccines technology help almost no one from a scientific point of view (http://www.naturalnews.com/029641_v...), it raises the question: For what purpose are vaccines being so heavily pushed in the first place?
